How to make an ESPN league viewable

One setting, then paste the League ID. If the pull still fails after this, we do not charge.

We only read standings and box scores. We never ask for your ESPN password.

   Open the league in a browser

   Sign in to ESPN on the web, not the app. The public-viewability switch has to be flipped on the website. The app will not change it.

   League → Settings

   Click the League tab, then click Settings.

   Basic Settings

   Click Basic Settings, then click Edit Basic Settings.

   Flip public viewability to Yes

   Set the public viewability option to Yes, then click Save Changes. Making the league viewable does not make it joinable. Strangers still cannot join.

   Paste the League ID

   Copy the number after leagueId= in the URL and paste it into our start form. On the ESPN Fantasy app, you can also find it under League tab → League Info.

   Use a number like 123456789. Not a real league, just the shape.
